True Nature of Black Lives Matter Exposed
This week in New York, at a rally for Trump supporters Black Lives Matter New York showed up to protest, rather than fight them the leader of the rally asked them if they would like to take the stage and present themselves and their goals, what happened next was not only a surprise to the Trump supporters but the members of the New York Black Lives matter as well!
While the group had shown up to initially protest, Tommy Gunn, the organizer of the rally put what happened this way, “So you guys know that the ‘Mother of All Rallies’ was to end the political violence,” he said. “It’s about freedom of speech. It’s about celebration. So, what we’re going to do is something you’re not used to, and we’re going to give you two minutes of our platform to put your message out. Whether they disagree or agree with your message is irrelevant. It’s the fact that you have the right to have the message.” The tension brought with the protestors was immediately diffused when instead of conflict the people in the Trump rally stood in support of Hank Newsome and Black Lives Matter in New York after he said to the audience, We are not anti-cop! We are an anti-bad cop. We say if a cop is bad, he needs to get fired like a bad plumber, a bad lawyer, like a bad f***ing politician!
We don’t want handouts, we don’t want anything that is yours. We want our God-given right to freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Responding to a shout of “all lives matter,” Newsome continued, “You are so right, my brother, you are so right. All lives matter, right?
But when a black life is lost, we get no justice. That is why we say black lives matter.
If we really want America great, we do it together.”
Instead of booing him off the stage the crowd agreed with him, all lives do matter, justice equally for all is the American way of things, and if we unite we can do great things, they stood and showed him their support.
After this while being interviewed Newsome said, “It kind of restored my faith in some of those people, because when I spoke truths, they agreed.
I feel like we made progress. I feel like two sides that never listen to each other actually made progress today. Did I expect to go on that stage? No. I expected to come down here with my fist in the air in a very militant way, exchange insults, maybe some dirty looks, or who knows what.
If not on a grander level, but just person to person, I think we really made some substantial steps, without either side yielding anything.
I hope they understand that one of the leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement is a proud American and a Christian, who cares deeply about the country and the people in it, whether they are documented or now. I want them to understand that we are educated, that we apply a strategy, but we come from a place of love. We really are here to help this country move towards a better place, not to destroy it.”
If things had ended here, we would have had a beautiful story, two opposing sides came together in common unity, a goal to make this nation better for all, but what happened afterwards showed the real goal of Black Lives Matter, they cared nothing of this unity, would prefer to go on hating then doing this.
Upon hearing of the encounter, how it turned out in the Trump Rally different Black Lives Matter chapters started to attack the New York chapter for daring to stand with a Trump supporter, saying “PRO-FACISM RALLYING & TRUMP CHEERLEADING ARE NOT VALID. Coming to our city to do it ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY INVALID”, from Washington DC to another Chapter in New York demanding they separated themselves from the rest.
What we saw exposed was a wonderful event where Trump supporters and Black Lives Matter Chapter in New York came to together in New York, the rest started to yell in outrage, showing in the process they had no desire for any unity, could care less about this country, if anything showed their hatred for this great nation. We all then were exposed to the truth, the irrational hatred for Trump was greater than any desire to unite us, they want to stay divided, by playing the victim they draw attention to themselves, they also show that the divide is so great, they will never aid in trying to repair it, rather you see the hatred for all things American, spitting on the sacrifice many of their own parents and grandparents did to bring equality to their people. Sadly, I think if Martin Luther King was alive, this great figure in American history would have nothing to do with these people, he would see them for what they are.
I think one of the men on the stage stated it best, “It hurt me that they denounced us like that, like we’re not really for the movement, like we’re traitors,” said Kiazolu, who joined Newsome onstage during Saturday’s rally. “They are dismissing all of the work we’ve done. We put our lives on the line. I was almost killed in Charlottesville.”
