Kamala Harris – Unmasking The Person Behind The Mask

Kamala Harris – Unmasking The Person Behind The Mask

Over the next couple of months, we want to look at what the Democrat field of presidential contenders is offering, we start off with a look at Kamala Harris, who is she, how did she get to where she is now, and what is her platform?

Early Life

Kamala Devi Harris was born in Oakland, California, a hotbed of liberal ideology and thought. Her mother, Shyamala Gopalan, a Tamil Indian that had migrated from India, was a specialist in Breast Cancer research, she worked in Berkley. Her father, Donald Harris, an economics professor from Stanford, who migrated from Jamaica in the 1960s. It was out of this academic home that Kamala was raised.

She identifies as Indian and black. Harris was raised in Berkeley, California. She grew up attending both a Black Baptist church, where she and her sister sang in the choir and a Hindu temple.

Having graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, she said at the time she wanted to get into law enforcement, thus went into the District Attorney program, rose up through the ranks. There are unsavory rumors about how she rose, but I was unable to find any type of evidence that can back this up.

There is talk about her relationship with Willie Brown from 1994 to 1995, he was the speaker of the House in California, she used her connections to him to gather her own connections to rise up in the political world.

Politics

City

We soon saw Harris start to take advantage of her political connections, in 1994, Harris took leave of her position in Alameda County when Brown appointed her to the Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board. The fact that she was his girlfriend stunk of nepotism, but people ignored it, the wealthy families were backing her.

When Brown became mayor, Harris in a move to separate herself from him broke up with him; his usefulness had come to an end. It was at this time Harris became involved in opposition to California’s state ballot measure –– Prop 21. The law that would wave minors to adult courts for a plethora of crimes, but the whole fight snuck of political maneuvering, not against the bill, more to set up Harris in a run for higher office.

It was then that she set the office in a conflict, quit after being resigned, set up her supervisor, who eventually quit, it was then that we saw that Harris was willing to do anything needed to advance her career, this caught the eye of political movers in the area.

She moved up then to City Attorney, worked in child sex cases, made a name for herself so the public took notice of her work.

Being discontent with her position, she next laid eyes on the job of the cities prosecuting attorney, attacked her opposition as a political has-been, gave notice to all, she was the one on the rise, not him. She set up base with the wealthy political leftist in San Fran, used their resources to launch her career, winning the position.

After Harris was found to be guilty, by the city’s Ethics Commission, of violating campaign spending limit of $211,000, of which Harris had agreed to abide by before the campaign commenced.

In spite of the bad press she won the election over her former boss and lover, she once more showed she was willing to throw anyone under the bus to get to where she wanted to get to.

Attorney General of California

From the city job she moved up the Attorney General of California, taking on housing cases, worked on prison reform, sentencing guidelines, and predatory lending.

Later, a scandal broke out when she did not prosecute Steve Mnuchin’s bank OneWest despite evidence “suggestive of widespread misconduct.” It was later released by the US Justice Department that Mnuchin had contributed to her campaign, so she chose to ignore what was wrongdoing on his part.

In 2015, Harris defended convictions obtained by county prosecutors who had inserted a false confession into an interrogation transcript, committed perjury, and withheld evidence. Federal appeals court Judge Alex Kozinski threw out the convictions, telling lawyers, “Talk to the attorney general and make sure she understands the gravity of the situation.”

2016 election

In 2016 with the announced stepping down of Barbara Boxer, Harris threw her hat in the US Senate race, Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California, he was the Lt. Governor when she was running threw his support behind her. She ended up winning the election.

Since she has taken office, the first thing she did was fight the so-called Muslim ban, has spent her time in office, along with the other Democrats as the resisters of all things Trump.

Running for President

One of the things we know of the senator, she seems to change political positions with the way the voters see things, seems backbone and belief aren’t in her bag of tricks.

Abortion

While working as California’s DA she supported the right of religious institutions to not supply abortions ( Seema Mehta (June 23, 2013). “Devious Ban on Abortion at Hoag”. Los Angeles Times. ), the interesting thing is, now that she is running for president, she is now pushing for all medical institutions to be forced to provide this service.

In July 2015, an organization called “The Center for Medical Progress” (dba “Biomax”), a registered California non-profit corporation posted five videos, shot in Texas, as evidence of proof that Planned Parenthood was “illegally trafficking aborted fetal parts.”

One of Harris’s largest contributors was Planned Parenthood, instead of looking at what PP was doing as illegal, she, after confiding with PP decided she would go after Biomax, prosecuted them for daring to show where crimes were committed, then used the police force of the state to clear out all secret tapes that could have further put pressure on Planned Parenthood. We could see quickly that morals were not what she was interested in, rather using her office to protect her friends from facing public pressure.

To add insult to injury, then Harris on September 2016, Governor Jerry Brown signed “Assembly Bill 1671” into law, which was reportedly drafted by Harris, with input from Planned Parenthood –– which sponsored the bill –– making it a criminal offense to intentionally distribute, or to help with the dissemination of, unlawfully obtained confidential communications. Libertarians, filmmakers and news organizations vehemently opposed the bill which was signed into law after late amendments were added to it.

Since her election to the Senate, Harris has maintained a 100% rating by the abortion rights advocacy group, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and a 0% rating by the anti-abortion group, National Right to Life Committee.

Corporate Donations

Harris’s 2020 campaign has disavowed most corporate donations and has committed to rejecting money from corporate political action committees for her presidential campaign, in favor of relying on small and large individual donors. Yet in spite of her claims, has turned out to be one of the largest recipients of donations from corporations.

Cannabis

When she was DA she stood against and fought any legalization of Cannabis, now that she has heard the left has shifted on their stance with this, she has had another magical transformation, suddenly she is a strong advocate of federal legalization of weed for recreational use.

In July 2019, Harris and Representative Jerry Nadler introduced the MORE Act of 2019, legislation that would decriminalize marijuana on the federal level in addition to expunging low-level marijuana possession convictions and authorizing grants to members of communities of color as part of an effort to reverse decades of damage cannabis criminalization had inflicted to those respective communities.

In a statement, Harris cited the need to regulate marijuana and ensuring “everyone — especially communities of color that have been disproportionately impacted by the War on Drugs — has a real opportunity to participate in this growing industry.”

Death Penalty

Harris is opposed to the death penalty but has said that she would review each case individually. It turns out her position on the penalty depends on how the public is reacting. This does seem to be a theme with all in her life.

Education

She like much of the Democratic field, who are rich from donations from Teachers unions is not for choice in schools, supporting homeschooling, she is more beholding to her special interest groups then the people she is to represent.

Election security

Like most of the left is still caught up in their madness over the Trump win. They are blaming the moves by Russia of effecting the election, yet ask any of them for proof, none of them seem able to show anything, only “they know” the evil Russians must have done this, how else could have Trump won?

Other Issues

Harris has said she supports people with special needs, then got in trouble when members of her audience were yelling that Trump was retarded, rather than correct them she proceeded to laugh at their attacks.

Audience member: “What are you going to do in the next one year to diminish the mentally retarded actions of this guy?”

Harris: “Well said.” (Giggles.) “Well said. Well, I plan to win this election, I’ll tell you that.”

When she was caught, suddenly she found this whole thing terrible, claims it was a mistake, she had not heard the people well enough.

She also made claims that she was involved in the lawsuit against Exon Mobile, but when the facts were checked out, turns out the whole narrative on her side was made up, she was never part of this. Must be Biddenitious (claiming to have done something you have did).

Turns out when looked into the one energy company she had no part of suing was Exon Mobile, could it have to do with the fact that they contributed to her campaign? We do see a pattern of this.

Platform

Three trillion tax plan, tax credits for renters, bail reform, Medicare for all, there is only one problem with this great idea, and this does not include the money she wants to spend on the environment, how is she going to pay for it? Like most on the left, who support the New Green Deal, they are quick to advocate, yet no one can show how this would be financed without breaking our economy.

Sen. Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) will run for president proposing a nearly $3 trillion tax plan, billions in tax credits to low-income renters, a Medicare-for-all health-care system, and a reduction in cash bail for inmates charged with criminal offenses, her aides said…

Aides said Harris’s platform will incorporate Sen. Bernie Sanders’s Medicare-for-all health-care proposal, while also pushing enormous tax relief intended to help low-income renters and boost incomes for working-class families…

Harris, by contrast, is expected to run on both a single-payer health program projected to cost more than $30 trillion, as well as tax benefits that would significantly reduce federal revenue. Supporters say that reflects her willingness to try to use different solutions to solve big problems.

She has said she will finance part of this by “eliminating the parts of the Republican tax law passed last fall that benefits the rich, as well as levying a new tax on large financial institutions.” But where is the other $29 Trillion going to come from? She is one of the loudest ones yelling over the national deficit, but she, under her plan, would well over double it by the time she finished one term, that sure seems to be contrary to what she is upset about.

I must say, if you want to transform this nation into the hell holes we are now seeing in Europe, watching our energy needs shrink, to see identity politics played even worse then they were under Obama, and see this nation go bankrupt, then Senator Harris is the president for you. We don’t need to worry about the Taliban, ISIS, the Russians or the Chinese, Harris will do far more harm then any of them could.
