The Truth Vs The Perception Of Truth
Over this weekend the news was plastered with photo’s and video’s of a group of high school children with MAGA hats that were gathered for a march for life event, we see a Native American in the middle of the kids, and we were told they had surrounded him and were mocking him, but is this how the events unfolded? This is what the news wanted you to see, the truth does not matter, only the perception of truth.
What happened was a woman had shot a video, presented this to the news, claiming that kids were chanting build the wall and were yelling racist remarks, but were they? Surprisingly CNN and others got hold of the video and found there was a need to retract the claims after they had seen the other video’s, what was presented and claimed by the first person who showed only the video of the elder playing the drum in the middle of the kids and the other video’s did not support the narrative she was presenting.
What started the whole thing off was a group of hateful people, they present themselves as Black Hebrews, claim that the ancient Hebrews of Old, they were black, and the slaves today are the Hebrews mentioned in the bible. I being Hebrew in blood have dealt with them, ask where their genetic proof of this is, they usually resort to name calling, screaming, and condemning as racist for even questioning their claim, it looks like the same thing was going on here.
You can see what is presented is the boys surrounded the elder, were harassing him, the one boy pictured got in his face and taunted him, but is this what really happened?
Here is a video leading up to this, this is the attacks from the Black Hebrews on the Native Americans:
The video opens with a tense encounter involving the men and a woman who challenges their beliefs and calls for peace.”Peace to what land?” one of the men responds. “How you gonna have peace to this land … when you got this madman in the White House?”The camera pans past the group, catching the first glimpse of the teenagers, at least one wearing a red Make America Great Again hat.”Then you got those pompous bastards over there wearing Make America Great Again hats,” one voice says. “Why you not angry at them?”
What we then had was a group of people who claim to oppose Trump doing nothing but spewing hateful rhetoric, as was stated in the article with CNN.
What is worse, these cowards then started to threaten these kids, being the hateful people they are, one should not be surprised by this, calling the kids crackers, telling them they will physically assault them, should have had the police there then to arrest them for their violent rhetoric towards the kids, but the press did not want this, they wanted to turn this around and blame the kids as being violent.
So what was the response of the boy shown in the video, he came out and issued his own statement in response, you can get the while statement here:
When we arrived, we noticed four African American protestors who were also on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. I am not sure what they were protesting, and I did not interact with them.
I did hear them direct derogatory insults at our school group. The protestors said hateful things. They called us “racists,” “bigots,” “white crackers,” “faggots,” and “incest kids.” They also taunted an African American student from my school by telling him that we would “harvest his organs.” I have no idea what that insult means, but it was startling to hear.
At no time did I hear any student chant anything other than the school spirit chants. I did not witness or hear any students chant “build that wall” or anything hateful or racist at any time. Assertions to the contrary are simply false. Our chants were loud because we wanted to drown out the hateful comments that were being shouted at us by the protestors.
After a few minutes of chanting, the Native American protestors, who I hadn’t previously noticed, approached our group. The Native American protestors had drums and were accompanied by at least one person with a camera.
The protestor everyone has seen in the video began playing his drum as he waded into the crowd, which parted for him. I did not see anyone try to block his path. He locked eyes with me and approached me, coming within inches of my face. He played his drum the entire time he was in my face.
I never interacted with this protestor. I did not speak to him. I did not make any hand gestures or other aggressive moves. To be honest, I was startled and confused as to why he had approached me. We had already been yelled at by another group of protestors, and when the second group approached I was worried that a situation was getting out of control where adults were attempting to provoke teenagers.
I believed that by remaining motionless and calm, I was helping to diffuse the situation. I realized everyone had cameras and that perhaps a group of adults was trying to provoke a group of teenagers into a larger conflict.
I said a silent prayer that the situation would not get out of hand.During the period of the drumming, a member of the protestor’s entourage began yelling at a fellow student that we “stole our land” and that we should “go back to Europe.”
I heard one of my fellow students begin to respond. I motioned to my classmate and tried to get him to stop engaging with the protestor, as I was still in the mindset that we needed to calm down tensions.
I never felt like I was blocking the Native American protestor. He did not make any attempt to go around me. It was clear to me that he had singled me out for a confrontation, although I am not sure why.
The engagement ended when one of our teachers told me the busses had arrived and it was time to go. I obeyed my teacher and simply walked to the busses. At that moment, I thought I had diffused the situation by remaining calm, and I was thankful nothing physical had occurred.
The video’s showed this is what happened, not the narrative that has been presented, but that is not what mattered, they had students with MAGA hats, the fact that the so-called “Black Hebrews were spewing hateful rhetoric, were threatening the boys with violence, that is all ignored, only a video tape with a fake narrative is shown, claiming the boys were chanting “Built the Wall” even the video of the whole incident shows this was never stated.
The damage has been done, I saw on twitter person after person saying they wanted to attack, beat up, strike these boys, but they had no clue what the whole situation was, this is America today.
